Alexander is a foreign affairs correspondent at the Russian daily Rossiyskaya Gazeta. He served as Rossiyskaya Gazeta’s Washington, DC, bureau chief from 2010 to 2013. He received his Ph.D. in History from the Russian Peoples Friendship University (RUDN).
