Russia Direct and its proprietor, JSC "Publishing house "Rossiyskaya gazeta", maintain full copyright to Russia Direct’s original published material. The contents of the Site are intended for your personal, noncommercial use. All materials published on the Site (including, but not limited to news articles, photographs, images, illustrations, audio clips and video clips, also known as the "Content") are protected by copyright, and owned or controlled Russia Direct and its proprietor, JSC "Publishing house "Rossiyskaya gazeta". All Content is protected by international copyright laws.
You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce, create new works from, distribute, perform, display, or in any way exploit, any of the Content or the Services in whole or in part.
What information we collect
We collect personally identifiable information about you through the use of enquiry and registration forms, your purchase of any our products or services (including Russia Direct Weekly Newsletters, Briefs and Reports, Webcasts etc.), the provision of your details to us either online or offline. We may also collect information that we request from you regarding your use of our service or that we collect automatically about your visit to our sites. In addition to the information you provide to us directly, we may collect information about your use of the Services. For example, we may collect: Device information—such as your hardware model, IP address, other unique device identifiers, operating system version, and settings of the device you use to access the site; Usage information—such as information about the Services you use, the time and duration of your use of the Services and other information about your interaction with content offered through a Service. Location information—such as your computer’s IP address, your mobile device’s GPS signal or information about nearby WiFi access points and cell towers that may be transmitted to us when you use certain Services. We may receive information about you from publicly and commercially available sources, as permitted by law, which we may combine with other information we receive from or about you. For example, we may receive information about you from a social media site if you connect to the Services through that site. We also may collect other information about you, your device, or your use of the services in ways that we describe to you at the point of collection or otherwise with your consent. You may choose not to provide us with certain types of information, but doing so may affect your ability to use some of the Services.
How we use your information
This information is used to deliver requested items such as(but not only) the Russia Direct Weekly newsletter, Monthly memos, purchased content or Webinar access. We also use this information to make your experience on russia-direct.org more enjoyable and convenient. The purposes to use your data may include processing orders, registrations and enquiries, conducting market research surveys, allowing users to participate in interactive features of our service, where they choose to do so, running competitions, prize draws and promotions, providing you with information about products and services we offer (if you agree to receive such information), sharing your Data with third party organisations who offer products or services which we feel may be of interest to you (if you agree to receive such information), etc.
Fees and payments
Russia Direct offers access to archived and new monthly analytical reports in the form of annual subscription or one-time purchase for a certain fee. Russia Direct does not process or store your financial data — all transactions are processed by a third-party company Piano Inc. (brand Tinypass). By submitting your payment details you authorize Piano Inc. to charge the respective fees from your credit/debit card or Paypal account. If you subscribe for 12 months or make one-time purchases at Russia Direct, you are not allowed to share your registration login credentials or give your login credentials to anyone else, as well as share downloaded paid content with other persons.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the subscription, you can request a full refund within first 30 days by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. After 30 days, subscription fees cannot refunded. Any cancellations will take effect for the next subscription year. All subscription fees will be renewed automatically in the end of your subscription year, unless cancelled in your Tinypass account online.
We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.
One-time purchases of reports cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Russia Direct may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your access to reports for any reason, including, without limitation, breach or assignment of these Terms of Service.
