Pavel Sharikov

Biography

Head of the Center for Applied Research at the Institute for U.S. and Canadian Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is the author of more than 30 research articles devoted to cybersecurity and international security issues. In 2008, he was a visiting scholar at George Washington University. In 2005, he was invited to join the Center for International and Security Studies at the University of Maryland. Sharikov graduated from the Institute for U.S. and Canadian Studies of the State University of the Humanities and defended his Ph.D. dissertation on “American cybersecurity policy.”
